My garden right now is overrun with Lemon Balm. If you just have one plant, by the next year you will have dozens. I love having it in the garden, but it is invasive. Lemon Balm is one of those fragrant herbs that has many uses. Just grab a handful and throw some in a salad in place of mint, or in a pesto or added to soup. It is such a light fresh lemon taste and aroma. Lemon Balm tea is nice just before you go to bed to calm the mind or added to a black tea for cooling ice tea. This time of year I harvest it, dry it and store it as tea for the winter months.
